Hectic spring is almost over...

This spring has been truly chaotic at AfterDawn Ltd.. We've been working on several new projects during the last 6 months or so -- this "my" was the first one to go "public beta" back in December.

In March, we rolled out yet another beta -- our gaming site, Blasteroids.com, although we didn't announce the project the same way we did with "my".

In addition to this, we launched in April a new sofwatr download site aimed at Finnish markets called download.fi, which, in essence, is simply a localized version of Filepedia.com -- just with very, very good domain name ;-)

Two days ago we finally removed the last pop-unders from AfterDawn.com and need to figure out how we'll make up the loss of sizeable income we made from the pops. But the reasoning was that we probably lost hundreds, if not thousands, of potential returning users each day who visited our site, got annoyed by the pops and never came back. So, time will tell whether we can turn that trend in the long run.

Anyway, summer is coming and our team has expanded a little bit during the spring and we're ready to roll out even more new projects in near future. Can't detail them all, but at least "my" will go through "beta to final" phase, during which we'll add couple of much-needed features to the profile pages, fix couple of bugs and streamline the site. Additional project that I can announce is the "official launch" of Blasteroids.com, which should happen sometime in May, with RSS feeds and minor things like that put in places. And as some of our fanatic artists have gathered, some of the "my"'s features will appear in MP3Lizard.com sometime during this year.. Got tons of more stuff coming, but we'll keep you posted :-)
