  yeah i asked where you had been lately, but its cool that you have other things to do, call ms and tell them if they dont fix your console you will have a lawyer contacting them...always worked for me

  in response to video signal dropping when bright screen. I have a Syntax Olevia 27" I can not remember the model number. I have tried running the game through all the settings the TV can do. 480p, 720p, and 1080i and it happens on each mode. Happens during movies, and video games.
  
  I am using Playstation HD cables and have tried switching to s-video and AV cables. it seems to be aproblem with either the TV or the ps3. I had played the exact game on my xbox 360 and had no problems with the screen going blank so I tend to think its the PS3 console.
  
  Any suggestions?

  You were talking about filling up your hard disks. You REALLY need to get a SATA hard drive and controller. Get a controller that can handle more than one disk. Last time I bought on I got a 500G for under $150. They are 5 - 10 times faster than most HDs.

  Hello, I saw your post for the Sims 2 no cd patch (i.e.http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/686816). It will not let me post to the thread because I am a newbie, i cannot get the link to download anything in safari or firefox, your help would be greatly appreciated as I have been trying to get it to work for days, I mounted the dmg with toast onto a disc and it still wont work. Please help, reply to phinsfan8@yahoo.com please please please
