  was wandering if you can advise me on my ydl installation problem in my ps3. i got 40gb version with (system v.2.01) 2 usb ports. burned ubuntu iso (lastest) burned YDL (5.02) & (5.0) both burned in 4x also tried maximum speed when burning the ISO. so i got a lot of DVD now with linux on it.
  
  i was able to install the bootloader. but then when i get to kboot. that's where am stuck. i tried install & installext but nothing comes out except for - g ... then tried ydltext still same thing - g ...
  
  what am i missing here ... i did my own reading already but some guy with the same case wasn't answered. hope to hear from you soon. thank you kindly.

  can u plz help me with the YDl instalation.......
  I have followed u'r steps until the boot loader. My ps3 sees only the .bld file, and it dosent the .self file. I tried replacing them, putting them on a flash drive, memory stik and cd, none see the .self file. And when i install the otheros.bld, it says to go to system menue, and change defoult os to other os. I did that and it restarted and shows only 2 penguins on a black background and writes some stuff and waits a command. If i put then the iso , it dosen't do anything. After a while, it just turns black the entire screen and dosen't do anything.

  Hi there i'm trying to put ydl on my ps3 i pressed the install os but i never partioned the drive first and it install ydl but its just staying on kboot: all the time it saying dont understand action"leasefail" then under that it says no lease, failing then ROUTE: RESOLVING THEN KBOOT: THATS IT IVE TRYED TYPING ANACONDA NOTHING HOW DO I GET BACK MY PS3 OS HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME THANKS DAVE "bail753@aol.com"
