Which post? Can you link me to it? For PS2 game backup, you need to have a way to boot backups such as Swap Magic or Cogswap, which is essentially the free version of Swap Magic. To run Cogswap, you need to have a softmodded PS2. As to my knowledge, backup PS1 games do not run on the PS2 correctly. The best backup option for the PS2 is the hard drive. You can load games on to that and directly play it and there is a very high compatibility.
For leaving games unpatched, that was for when I put it on the hard drive if I remember correctly.
Link me to the post and I'll be able to help you more.

Hey man, tried using your info to use my gameshark v2 to install the MC exploit, but I'm having no luck. I used independence complier to make my title.db, and I'm using ulaunchelf. Any idea why I've been unsuccessful?

  • core2kid (07 Jul 2008 11:15)

    DeuceNC,
I can't actually figure out how to post in your own shoutbox so I'll post it here.
Send me the name of the game and the game ID found when you open the disc through my computer and your email. Ill create the files and send it to you. In the mean time take your gameshark v2 and backup from the memory card the BADATA-SYSTEM and send it to me via email. My email is nehal1802@gmail.com
