Chunkhead! Much respect man but I followed your tutorial to the letter but I cant get my drive to lock.
1. I have no auto-detect to turn off
2. HDD is on the list
3. Tried to spoopf pc with different drive then swap

Im confused with all the different people and ways with different programs. I need help. I can get to and do all the stuff accept lock it! Can you help

Your tutorial for modifying a USB flash drive is really great but I am having so many problems, and it seems like theres no one out there to help anymore. Ive spent a week on this project and with no resources to go to to ask for help, I feel like I have to give up. Do you still exist out there in the ether of the internet? Is there any way you can help me?

dont know if it has been asked yet but...why dose xboxhdm say ABORTING! every time i try to lock the hdd?tried with diffrent hdds and burnt many copies of my eemprom just to get the same ABORTING! message as soon as i type yes. plz help

Hey, Ive been trying to softmod my xbox- read your tutorials, BIG help. Im still having a problem though..
Im using a USB adapter (made it) and a flash drive with AR, using SID. I put the SID files on my flashdrive using AR, plug it in, turn my XBox on, go to memory, click on controller 2 (the flashdrive), and theres nothing on it. Empty.
Every time I plug the flashdrive into my XBox it deletes everything on it. (No error messages)

Any advice?

Chuckhead, I have seen your pot tweaking guide and I am impressed. I run a shop with my dad and I work on Xboxs in all forms of the trade. However, my dad is not sold on your guide and I cannot continue with my work without his approval. I must ask this.

If the Xbox says Please put this disc in a xbox 360 console, could the pot tweaking fix this issue if the laser is not dying out? I hate to ask for a quick reply, but weve been searching forever for a fix and my dad grows aggressively impatient. Please reply within your thread on the subject or in my shoutbox.

I followed your instructions about unlocking XBOX HDD i got all the files and software that i need (i think) but after i double click the make-iso-win.bat the ms dos pops up and making but this the image file linux.iso it doesnt appear anywhere in my computer i tried to search it but it doesnt come up, please advise what i need to do or do i need software to recognise the ISO mage?
