  You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine
  
  Count the vents on top
  
  18x7 = Clone
  25x7 = Genuine
  13x7 = 1st Generation
  
  Also looking from the front
  Scart to the left = Clone
  Scart to the right = Genuine

  You will need version CryptStar-v1.4-Core400 [ link ] firmware for GENUINES found in Starvi*w firmware folder.
  
  You will need version CryptStar-v1.4-Core257.bin [ link ] firmware for CLONES found in Starvi*w firmware folder.
  
  You will need version 4.50 firmware for THE B0X IRELAND found in THE B0X firmware folder.
  
  You will need version 4.51 firmware for THE B0X UK found in THE B0X firmware folder.
  
  You will need version 7.05 firmware for THE SUPER B0X found in THE B0X SUPER firmware folder.

  Menu Factory Setting
  PIN 0000
  OK to delete
  
  Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on
  
  English Installation
  Choose Provider etc
  Automatic Scan
  Press OK
  Channels found
  Exit
  
  Press Menu then 1570
  Turn EMU key ON
  
  Exit , exit , exit
  
  
  
  If you see Code is being updated on your screen
  
  Press Menu then 1570 and press the Set Default Key , press OK and tune into S*Y Sports and it should auto update for you

  what software version should i download for the box t. my computer will not down load the file from eamos library. it tells me it is a bin file . all help appreciated

  celtic, i was wondering if have the latest firmware for the krypt view. i last updated in april but have problems most movie chanels and sport. any help would appreciated.mick

  Hi Celtic, is there a guide anywhere on these pages as to the differnece between the boxes and what they each do? I've had my genuine starview1 box for about 2 years now and only real problems are sky sports 2, sky sports xtra and baby tv never work (my little girl loves that channel). Also some of the others dont work from time to time. All in all I'm looking to upgrade so wondering which is the best especially in terms of easy to use. Cheers.
