  cbrooks, I read your post that stated, "Even though you dont have a router u still need to open ports through ur firewall for max connection. Are u using winxp firewall?, if u are this is all u need to: (i would also use utorrent rather than azureus)
  
  ~ Go to ur firewall/security
  ~ click on expections tab
  ~ add new port
  ~ in the top bar put in name ie: az, utorrent.
  ~ then in bottom one put in ur port #
  ~ do this both for tcp and udp listening ports
  ~ then go to advance tab
  ~ click settings for ur connection ur using
  ~ u will be in services tab
  ~ click add
  ~ then put in ur info
  ~ name of client
  ~ ur ip addy
  ~ then put in same port # as before, in both internal and external
  ~ do this for both udp and tcp
  ~ ok everything, put port # in ur client
  ~ reboot

  I was wondering if this included if the firewall is turned off? AZUREUS went through some updates yesterday and it seems that my upload speed went way down. I tried several other clients to see if it would make it faster, but it did not. I downloaded uTorrent and followed your instructions to the letter, but I still cannot get anything over 5 kb/s. I really need some help. Thanks!

  Sup, I have seen you helping out others on this board and I myself am in need! I have a problem with azureus, bittorrent, all of the software. IU have xp the fire is off I use norton internet serivces and I go in manually and make it accept ports that I use, I have a westell router and I go to the [ link ] link I add the ip thing. Azureus keeps on saying nat error, when I test it again with utorrent it says nat ok! Same ports now. I average dls of around 11-15kb my uld's are fast like 57-75kb....Can you please help me because my share ratio is like 4:1 I dont care to share but, I would like to get it 1:1. Can you help me with this please? Thanks
