Newbie

This sure doesnt look like the desert. My boyfriend took this picture and e-mailed it to me with the message, Wish you were here. At first, I didnt recognize our house. The saguaro looks like a chimney and the other plants look completely different when theyre covered with snow. By the time the storm ended, there was over a foot accumulation. My boyfriend sent me more photos as the snow level increased. He also called to tell me how cozy the fire was and to rub it in that I had to be at work on a day that he didnt. However, me made up for that when he drove more than 100 miles each way to pick me up and take me out there that weekend. The snow was still on the ground, most roads hadnt been plowed and I dont have chains. It was so beautiful! Then it was my turn to go crazy with the camera. As much as I enjoyed it, Im really glad that we dont live in a place where it snows all the time.
