  hey i'm sorry to bother you but i'm new to this xbox360 modding game. First question I have, is the sata hardware needed or can you check to see if you have it. Also, the Team Xecuter x79 chip is that also needed? Sorry if i seem noobish it's just I really want to try this.

  Hey budro! I've come across you on several threads, especially the one with your own-made tutorial on flashing hitachis, proving that you are indeed a very bright and informative individual. However, I have a question for you, and hopefully you could take the time to help me out as I'm really stuck right now.
  
  Situation:
  I have a 79FL drive with 79PASSKEY installed with current firmware iXtreme 1.2. I however do not have a backed up "original.bin". Is there a way that I can upgrade to iXtreme 1.4? I know that I can obtain my system's "key" by dumping the hacked firmware I have right now, but how would I compile the new iXtreme 1.4 firmware without having my XBOX restored to its original non-hacked firmware? Or maybe I don't have to? Or lets say after I had obtained my "key" by dumping my current 1.2 firmware, could I simply INJECT that key into the 79 firmware that came with 360 Firmware Toolbox in the "orig_fw" folder and then apply the 1.4 patch? I'm wondering what's the best solution for me right now that you could tell me...
  Just a recap, 79FL with currently iXtreme 1.2 without original.bin.

  Hey Budro...HELP HELP HELP!! I am very new to modding and need desperate help trying to figure out how and were to go about modding a xbox 360. Im definitley a newbie when it comes to it all so Im trying to purchase a pre modded system off the net. I want to be able to play games from all regions, japan, uk etc, and still b able to play the u.s games as well. Most importantly i want to be able to back up my games and play them on the modded system. Ive been researching around and have found the ( globe 360) chip,,, and the (Infectus) chip allready installed into the system..   i hate to use shoutbox to ask you a technical question, but i am so stuck at the moment im going out of my mind
  im attempting to flash my hitachi 79 drive following your tutorial. However, when i attempt to do the Raw dump in the firmware toolbox the computer freezes and goes nowhere...any suggestions? like i said i hate having to use your shoutbox to bother you about this, but i cant find any other help

  how did u take apart ur hard drive to get that sata port because i was reading the forum when the cant find fatx drive and i had the same problem any help please
