  borhan9, thanks for your comment on my page. I find your pictures interesting too, it looks like you have friends from quite a few countries! You've put so much up and I can see from the captions that you spent time at at Baha'i House of Worship in India, I suppose that's where you met a lot of those people but I think it would be interesting if you wrote a bit about your trip and the people so we would know more about what we are seeing. Perhaps it's my own background being so international but I do find such things interesting. Have you lived all your life in Australia? How do you find that? I know when I was growing up no one ever knew what to think I was. Since my dad had simplified the spelling of his last name to a more American spelling of Vasari, some people thought I was Italian. Others thought I was Mexican or Chinese. Some people have thought I was Hawaiian. I think the assumptions people make, make me laugh sometimes.

  PS since you seem to be so interested in American movies and culture I thought you might enjoy knowing this: I live in a large apartment complex: there are four three story buildings with apartments surrounding a large common area which contains tennis courts, basketball courts, a pool, a couple of jacuzzis, a gym and the business offices for the complex. Well, this whole past week, they have been filming a movie here, using our apartment complex. I think they are using some of the outdoor areas, the parking lot and a laundry room. The movie's title, at least for now is Smiley Face. The director is Gregg Araki. Anna Faris (Scary Movie), John Krasinski (The Office), Jane Lynch (The 40 year old Virgin), and John Cho (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) are starring in it. "A slacker actress trips her way through a series of life-changing misadventures after eating a batch of marijuana-laced brownies made by her stoner roommate. " (Hollywood.com)
  I don't know how many more days they will be filming here, the trucks are still all here. I also am not sure when it will come out... I suppose some time next year.

  In answer to your question on my shoutbox: I had 12 years of piano lessons, years ago did teach a little piano, was married for nearly 20 years to a man who spent many of those years as a music teacher, and therefore have done a fair amount of accompanying and helping out with lessons, but I am not, myself a music teacher. I teach elementary school mostly, although as a substitute teacher I do junior high and high school sometimes as well. Words I would associate with my musical involvement these days would be more like "muse", "wannabe amateur pianist and keyboardist" and "fan".

  Studying and work have taken so much of my time lately it felt very good to spend an evening having so much fun. Thanks for the compliments on the pictures. I was brought up very strictly and not allowed to go to anything like this when I was young so I am really loving the chances I get to do so.   thanks. Life has been extremely busy but I pulled off an A- on one of the most important classes of my degree and the teaching school year is almost over. There will be summer school and the year round calendar schools to substitute teach for and more classes for me to take but I will be having a much needed very wonderful lessening of my stresses for a while soon when this class I have been teaching since April ends and I go back to a more flexible schedule.
  As for the movie link my daughter was referring to, that was a link to a movie my cousin in Slovakia will be in. She is a professional actress. So not me. I just take pictures, not star in them. :) But I love making people look good.

  congratulations on all of your recent successes! It sounds like you've been very busy with all the moving and everything! With the end of the school year and a class I was taking things got very busy and then before either one was done I also had a houseguest, so things got Very busy. ( I didn't realize how busy till I noticed I had not blogged in June at all). I'm not complaining, I needed the work, have done well in the class which is now almost done and the visit was incredibly great as always. I guess you're in your winter over there, hence the cold. It's very hot here right now.

  um, for guy mall shoppers...
  
  1.) count how much money you have. If your broke then be prepared to cry when you see something you want but dont have enough money for.
  
  2.) dont buy 10 of the same exact shirt or pants! Same type but in different colors is ok in my opinion.
  
  4.) bring a friend so you have a second opinion, store people will say what ever it takes to get you to buy something even if it looks horrible.
  
  5.) never ask for money from a girl if you posses money. if you don't have enough, come back another day.
  
  6.) got a pierced ear? buy a shiny earing to show it off.
  
  7.) dont cancel because of a bad hair day. if the stuff looks good when your having a bad hair day, think of how nice it would look when you have a good one.

  i got a problem with bitcommet, it says my port is blocked. i set the firewall to let bitcommet run but im still either blocked or unknown. its making me mad *pouts*

  i have a confession... i unistalled the botcommet because it messed up my internet connection. im on the main computer now. thank goodness i wasnt on my moms settings when i changed the internet file..
