Movie Marathon

05 Apr 2010 22:32 (Edited: 05 Apr 2010 22:32)

My cousin and I and a few friends went to the movies a few days ago and the movies that we had as part of out movie marathon were:
1)KickAss
2)Green Zone
3)Wolfman
My cousin and I just saw the first 2 movie, however this blog is about the nonsense we had to deal with prior to getting into the cinemas.
My friend had brought his under age cousin that i did not think was an issue as well as he himself had forgotten his I.D
The whole thing in OZ is that if you are wanting to see an MA rated movie you either must be 15 or older and have I.D to prove it otherwise you need to have someone older with you to supervise you.
My friend and his friends had an issue getting in cause they did not have their I.D and the guy at the ticket office was adement that I although over 18 and 10 years their senior had to be a parent or a legal guardian. Which pissed me off big time cause he was being unfair.
What then we decided to do was get my cousin to go buy three tickets and then just go down, which we did.
After this we thought we were home free for my friends. However we were about to hit another small stumbiling block.
This time when we were down there at the doors they again were checking for I.D's soo this time my cousin went and spoke with the supervisors and said that he will take the responsibility for the under age guy and my friend with no I.D after a few commings and goings the lady let us through and we went and saw the movies.
The major thing i wanted to stress in this blog that the security for this movie marathon was even harder than the security that you get in any airport.
I'll never see going to the movies in the same way :)
