Movie Review: 21

Ok soo i watched this movie last week and i had been wanting to watch this movie when it was at the pictures, i didnt get a chance soo when i saw it at the video shop the other week i got it out and i was amazed at the movie at first it was slow to start with and i have to say it met my expectations and then some.

I loved how this guy was a nerdy guy from school working his butt of to get to go to Harvard and be a MBBS. Then how kevin spacet gives him a question to size him up to see if he is wirthy to be a part of the team. Which he becomes a part of the team not on the first go cause he is a clean cut moral guy but things change and he goes for it and learn the trick of the trade and learns to count cards :)

soo when the card counting lesson started i thought to myself this is how we should get school students into maths cause it was all about maths adding and subtracting. Great stuff and a simple stratgey that u will get if u put in a couple of hours of focus and concentration.

The master the tricks and they take the house for all its worth :)

I recommend this movie got a fresh new cast that play their parts with prefection and the big stars kevin spacey and laurence fishburn plays a very kewl pitt boss that can also count cards soo u can just imagine how tense how this movie gets. However this is a movie that u sorta watch once or a few times with mates.

The best part i have to tell u know the stratgey that they use is an actual stratgey that is used andcan beat the bank.

The best part of this is that the method is taught to people that watch the DVD Special features.

Watch this movie totally worth it.

Movie Review: MAMMA MIA

Well yesterday i granted one of my mothers wishes even if i did not like the request she has been killing me to go and see the new mamma mia movie and i did not want to and i have been holding out till now and now that its finally made it on DVD i thought why not give it a go and see how it really is.

Well i have to say i am a fan of musicaks movies and on stage.

However....

This movie should have not been made or even thought about once nor twice.

You really have to be a hardcore abba fan to love this movie the whole movie was just a 2 hour show of abba hits and in my book they did not even do half of the big hits and they fitted in some really crappy numbers.

The plot was very basic a 2year old could have even written it. Basically it was about a girl trying to find her dad and she invites 3 guys that could be her father to her wedding so she can find out who her daddy is and thats the end of the story and plot in between this really small plot you have to sit through some really awful renditions of abba songs.

Now to the actors and actresses Merryl Streep well shes a headliner yes and some songs she did better than others however when she starts the songs it takes her awhile to get the pitch tone etc... right and by the middle of the song u get into it.

The 2 lovebirds that are getting married are probablly the only 2 people that can sing in this movie.

Now to the male leads i have to say the guy from the pirates movie that plays orlando blooms dad did not have many songs so i cant really judge his singing ability.

Colin Firth I have to say was the real surprise pack of them all he actually could sing it was not the best but he can hold a note and did sing well enough for me to take notice.

Now to Brosnan, Peirce Brosnan you may wonder whyi introduced him theat way well i think it was such a mis cast putting him in dont get me wrong eye candy for the ladies yes but once he sang it was like your sex drive would not shift from Park.

Percie should stick to making films like bond action flicks even straigh comedies and drammas not musicals. I like him i think he should have still been playing bond but hey thats over but stick with non musical flicks.

Soo overall you have to be an abba fan to really want to watch this movie.

Now to the rating.

My Old PC Back From the Dead

Well I feel I need to write about this because it was a huge sigh of releaf when it worked out.
Basically in the last two months my PC died well kinda the hard drive was not being wrote too properly. It was driving me nuts and b4 that i had got a virus and soo i have been using my laptop latley and its been great however i have not been downloading for like 2 months and i thought i have to buy a new hard drive and start putting the software back on and i really was annoyed about that cause its a lengthy process as most of you know :)

Soo when i remembered i had my old computer b4 the one i recently finished building i have to say its slow but works like a charm. I had originally given it too my sis because her computer had died and soo too fix my sisters computer i took her hard drive out and put it in my old computer which ment that my original hard drive has been sitting in a box for at least over a year.

So I asked my sister if she wanted her computer back because i had bought her a laptop back in march this year she said its all good i dont want it soo i thought eurka!! i took her working hard drive out and then i put my original hard drive back in and hey presto!!! it worked and it did not even have any problems recogising any drivers or anything :) all my programs were there and worked :) The only thing i guess i need to get for this is more ram.

Soo now i am back using my amd 2.2 instead of my 3100 which is now sittin in the corner till i buy new hard drives and i am going to go back to XP and i have XP on this old computer.

Soo for the time being what i have done cause my hdd onthis is now only 40gig soo i got my sisters hard drive formated it and then put it in my external enclosure and now i have a 40 gig external and a 120 gig external lappy drive and now i have got back to my downloading and im loving it :)

I have saved myself some money all i had was to use a bit of my brain and time :)

Movie Review: Traitor

Today I had a general day off well i do get days off more than i used to however today i decided to treat myslef cause i have had a busy first half of the week so i went to the movies and watched Traitor it was released today in OZ.

I really wanted to see a good movie cause i had not seen a good movie for awhile and the last review i have written i expected big things from the latest indiana jones movie which basically in my book tanked in a major way but enough about that crappy movie if u want to know what i feel about that u can read the blog b4 this one.

Getting back to this movie well my day was like i went to the movies and took myself on a date cause well i have no friends free atm.

Soo i went and checked what time a movie that i would like to see would start and i found that this movie started at 12:45 soo i decided to buy a ticket and go to lunch first and i went to sushi train cause its like the best place ever for fresh sushi.

When i got to sushi train it was like obly getting started i was like the third customer and that felt great soo i made myself at home and got cracking i ordered my favs which are basically Inari and then i also like shark fin and sammon sushimi so i had a bunch of those dishes and it was great if i had to get addicted to a food i would get addicted to sushi well i guess i already am. :)

Soo i sat there for an hour and soo and ate relaxed and then i had an hour to kill so i walked for a bit and then i headed for the movies and got there and sat tired but fully satisfied after a fabtastic meal.

Soo the movie started and it started off a bit like a foggy cloud u had an idea of what it was about but it was not clear and a bit up in the air but i have to say it was a lot better than what i have seen latley.

Soo it starts off with don cheadle as a kid seeing his dad basically being blown up by a car bomb and then moves to present day and then u see him ddriving to meet someone and then u realize when he meets that person where this movie is heading and general outline of the movie s about the arabs terrorism and how basically they find and stop terrorist that plan to blow somethings up.

I love this film it was a great action movie i lost track of time and was fully into the world of don cheadle and ohh it has an aussie actor as well guy pearce he places an FBI agent and it was a great cast when u put all the pieces together. I even liked the arab indian actors in the movie loved it.

Soo basically its a thriill ride from start to end and u see a bunch of countries and u see how easy it is for people that wish to do this kinda thing and what a hard job world governmebnts have tracking this kinda thing.

I recommend that everyone watch this film because one thing i loved about it was that it showed how simillar the world 2 biggest religions are and how the east and west are a like but its just said in a different language and different words but meaning the same.

If you feel like u want to be challenged then i recommend u watch this filim it will blow your mind pardon the pun :)

I give this movie
9/10 A definite movie to see at the pictures and own on DVD.
