Burn The Floor: Floorplay

Ok so after the hellish week i had I had planned like for 2 weeks now to go to Floorplay with a friend of mine. I meant to buy the tickets online but after the week i had i just didnt get around to it. So anyway organised that we would go into town at least 2hours earlier than the show and see if the show had any tickets left. Lucky on my part they did have tickets soo we bought them and we had to wait ages for them to open the doors etc..

So we sat down and had an intresting chit chat :)

But I'm I'm not goin into the details of that.

But I will tell you about the show. The show was great we got preety good seats for like last minute kinda thing. The Dancing was great all the classical stuff in the begining and then they changed things up and and made it more modern and it was like the name stated like floor play ;)

The sound was blarring very loud and was projected well and the singers were also excellent. In one song the girl hit a high note of the song and it nearly burst my ear drum :) But I have to say the music was great.

I highly recommend this show to anyone to go and see at the moment they are in Australia. If they come to the other cities go and see them its worth the money.

For you Oversears people See if they have a production happening for you. It is high intensity and just fun and a great night out after a crappy week.

The rest of the night consisted of a lot of walking trying to figure out where to go and eat. Well she didnt want to eat in the city cause everything was closed for some strange reason. She wanted Oporto's and they were closed soo we decided to jump back on the train and go back closer to home and again this was a walk and for me it was fine but she was wearing massive heals. I told her next time to just wear sneakers but the plan after the show was to go out clubbing with her friends but everyone called her and said that they were not comminf out tonight because it was raining where we lived. Party Poopers I say.

So I offered to go out to a club or something wth her but she said no and that was kewl cause clubs are not really my scene and thats not because i can't dance. Actually I can bust a move if i want to I've been dancing like Michael Jackson since i was in grade 3 so I have no trouble their. I won't just burn the floor I would tear it up :)

Anyways we were on the train went back to a centralised station close to home and we said we will see if we can get something to ear here.

I first took her to see if this nice little Italian Pizzeria was open but on the way down I bummped into the video shop owner and asked if the pizza place was open and he said no he had been closed all day. :(

And silly me I had forgotten to introduce my friend to the vid guy. Eventually I did after 5 seconds of sielence. But anyway that was kewl.

I can just see the 20 questions when i go back their to get a DVD ;)

Anyway after all that we wnet back to the main part of the shopping area and went and saw if Subway was open. It was so we went there.

So we had subway and conversation which was nice and funny too.

After we finishe eating dinner it was nearly 10pm and we had enough time for her to catch the last train I offered to travel with her to where she has to go but she declined so i didnt push the matter.

So we waited and had another chtt chat :) the train eventually came after awhile and we said bye etc.. and i said dont forget about tomorrow. Were going to the Computer Market She wants to get a USB Stick and I need to re-stock my Blank DVD's and mayb get a new smaller keyboard.

Anywayz all in all a great night from my perspective :)

The Week From Hell

Last week was like the worst week ever... Everything that wanted to go wrong went wrong. It all happened when my old man made a call on friday of the week prior sometime i can't remember when exactly. Anywayz that call contributed to a big flair up and argument with my mum about stuff.

On top of that i was having issues with both of my jobs. Mainly the job that i have had for a few years now its been more than a few years. Last week was the final straw it broke the camels back. The Incompetance that I have seen by the supervisors and other staff around the workplace is appualing and they really need to over haul the whole shift on this peticular day.

The supervisor in my opionion has to be shown the door. She has the communication skills of a nute as one of my old co-workers put it.

I tend to agree.

So on Tuesday I get a call to come in and do a shift like a monday I said yes because it was with the other supervisor which knows what shes doing and trusts in the ability of the staff she has around her.

Every other day besides Mondays we work as members of a team and we work efficently and everything runs smoothly.

On a Monday No such luck. There is no communication by the sdupervisor about the days plan and many other aspects that are also missing the supervisor does not smile. When you work with people you have to make sure it is a happy, enjoyable place to be working both for the staff and clients.

I went to work on the Tuesday and also on the Wednsday and had soo much fun because everyone worked as a team well more fun on a Wednsday than the tuesday but thats another blog. :)

So back to when i got the call I told them that I would perfer to work on a tuesday and wednsday. The supervisor told me to stick to monday for now because we don't have any back ups. so I agreed. By the time friday comes around and the week is at its crushendo of hell I get a call from The Supervisor stating that we have found a replacement so u can have mondays off.

I was over the moon about the news.!! :D

Mondays felt like hell had come once a week.

I was talking to one of my co-workers from my other job explaining the situation and she said that the supervisors sounds like shes got a thing called "Incompetance, Incompetance"

Which basically means that their the best and doesnt realise that she is flawed in so many areas. The day I think Im a know it all is the day I would end it. Thank God that I don't think that way.

I wish the new worker on Monday good luck and I hope they can tolerate it more than i could.
