Movie Review: Partiton

A few months ago last year i got this movie out from the video store called Partition. For some reason th civic video store gets bollywood/hollywood movies and this movie caught my eye. It had jimi mistri in it and well i am not a big fan of his the only other movie of his i have seen is the Guru and that was really crap.

Partition on the other hand was mind blowing it is one of the best movies i have seen all last year and Jimi Mistri played his role 110% with true authenticity and it was historically correct and protrayed in a fashion that was fair to both sides and showed the true meaning of value and that love true love does not see prejudice of any kind.

This movie was based around the mid 1900's around the war and bloodshed against the Islamic Pakistan and the Secular India. What it did show was the passion for their beliefs they have for what they belivie in and what is true even today that was shown in the movie was that they will fight for what they belivie in although they do not realize the cause that they are fighting for is one and the same. Religions true purpose is to unite and not to segregate.

I highly recommend this movie for one and all to watch and even purchase as part of their home DVD library. Really well made and highly emotional and for me it was tear jerking.

Love is blind does not see differences only commonalities.
