Movie Review: Friends With Money

Well today I was sitting at home bored out of my mind so i decided to go down and hire a DVD. I had heard that Friends with Money is a good film, so i got it.

I am a big fan of Jenifer Aniston and all her films. She is one hot babe. (What was Brad thinking) To me this movie when i rented it today it said it was a comedy, but i did not feel that this was the right category. It was dry humor like English humor in my opinion.

The movie is ok to watch definitely a chick flick and a good message sender to all the blokes out there that do not respect what they have being with the partner they have.

The message for me in the movie is one that i live by always. Money isn't everything.

To compare this movie to another movie it would have to be something like "The Good Girl" & "Closer"

It was something like friends on depression or friends with depression. I felt this to be a more dramatic film than funny.

This movie i leave up to you to make up your mind to watch or not. It is watchable.

Movie Review: Blood Diamond

This movie mum and I sat down to last night and started watching i was like no i don't want to watch it and then i got drawn into it, scene after scene.

This movie was for me like Angelina's Beyond Borders Movie.

It really drove home the message about conflict diamonds and how much bloodshed is caused by big corporation's greed over rocks. For me it was not a surprise to see the violence over the stones. But I found what the western society cooperations do once they get the diamonds eye boggling. They don't sell the diamond they keep it to have market control. Which is a total rip off and is a monopoly that should not be there in the first place.

What also is amazing is how blind the world is too this kind of thing. I remember in 1999 the thing i remember watching on the news was Clinton's and he's sex games. Also that was the year i finished high school.

Getting back to the movie this is a great movie all actors in this movie played their parts to a "T"

watching this movie i had a feeling it was going to end the way it did for one of the characters in the movie. I will not say because i don't want to spoil it for others that have not seen this milestone of a movie.

My mum at the end was sitting the tears rolling down her eyes and me i felt pissed off at the cruelty of the developed world and the things we get away with.

Again this is another must see and must have to anyone's DVD Collection.

My Rating is: 10/10

p.s if you do not see this movie its out of ignorance and fear. Educate yourselves and learn think for yourselves.

Movie Review: The Pursuit of Happyness

So last night mum and I sat and watched this great movie. At first I did not want to watch this cause i just did not feel like watching a drama. Don't get me wrong I love Will Smith Movies. He is a great actor I have been a fan since his fresh prince of bell air days :)

This movie was soo good that i was sitting their feeling every emotion there was in the book. I felt frustrated most of the time cause i cant believe the level of poverty the USA has.

It does show you in this movie both the good side and evil side of one person when it comes to survival of the fittest. Watching this movie reminded me of the law of the jungle "Survival of the fittest.

The scene in the movie where he and his son had to stay in the rest room of the subway station nearly got too me.

After watching this movie i have decided to go after my dreams and make sure i can get there but hopefully i would never have to deal with some of the situation that was seen in this fantastic film.

I think this is a great movie for everyone to see in their lifetime. Especially for teenagers to view to see even in a free country how hard it is to make it.

I would love to see Will Smith win an Oscar for his performance in this great master piece of a film.

Highly recommend this film for all!!!

Telstra Bigpond Technical Support

So yesterday I was trying to figure out how to increase my download speed in utorrent. I went into my router's configuration setup page and was looking at it and what I needed to do to alter it and make it work properly. I did not see anything that needed to be changed on my routers configuration so i checked my adsl modem's page and i altered something in the setup configuration in their and i applied the changes to the settings and then went to just open a browser window and it did not connect so i was stuck. I went to the adsl config page to chek what i had altered and i couldn't remeber what i changed. So i called My ISP which is Telstra Bigpond in Australia.

I called them up and i gotta give them 1% credit for not taking that long to pick up the phone. But that's about it. I told the indian guy over the phone what my issue was and he said he could not see any problems . Which annoyyed the hell out of me.

The chuddie (underwear) man on the phone was like i have not been trained in using IE 7 you need to downgrade it too 6 and then call us back i rolled back to 6 and it still was not working. So i was mad i did not bother to call them so i went back to the configuration page of my modem and had another look.

This trime while there i found a button that said to reset everythig back to the factory default so i did and i saved the settings and then when and checked my browser again and everything was back to normal.

So much for their support. :P

I feel like writing an email or calling and complaining at their lack of helpfulness.

Well thats the end of my rant.

My Twin Brothers 1st Birthday

Well on the 2nd of Jan 2007 was my twin brothers 1st birthday. I wish i was there to celebrate their milestone with them. I miss them sooo much. The way the look up at you and want your attention. The only thing is they want your attention at the same time. Trying to hold twins at the same time is hard and even harder when you yourself have a disability. I remember when i was there in October last year i had just arrived to dad's place and just got in the door put my suitcase temp down and they crawled over to greet me or too see who's this new person in our world.

So i had my glasses on and my cap. The first thing they went for is ohh whats these round bottle things grabbing my glasses and trying to break them :) lol

Next it was the hat's turn grabbing at it and all. I took that off. Then their hands became open hand and they started slapping my face and first it did not hurt and then they wound it up and gave me a great wack :) lol

Their soo cute and cuddly. I miss them heaps well everyone there too.
