  Hi Boobooman Ive just got a dbox2 from Germany Im a novice at all this when I connected it someone told me to do a service scan I did this and it picked up about 150 channels (on NTL cable) when I went to look at them could not see half the pictures. I emailed the guy who sold it to me who of course did not reply now he has my money. Im at a loss what to do can you help send me some instructions in an easy idiot guide format. Ive read some of these links so here is the info I know when the box loads it has a picture Team Commondo if that means anything to you (It said it was in debug mode) I have a C5 crossover cable that people seem to talk about but frankly do not know what to do with it.   I have a nokia box as mentioned in the thread. Can I have an idoit guide for the use of this. at present i am only getting bbc1.Many thanks in advance. Ps how do i connect the box with a computer??

  I being a total novice eager to go for it ballsed up and uploaded an image i thought was the right thing to do and now dbox aint working at all at least before it told me that everythings unavailable now its not doing that im dying here my head will end up thru the tv at this rate lol

I heard your the expert in this so I was just wondering why after doing my service scan (on both frequencies), I am still not picking up any channels even though everything is connected ? Do you think it could be to do with the image or something along those lines ??

  I've just got a Sagem Dbox2 from Germany I'm a novice, I keep getting an error message channel not available - I've tried scanning it on Telewest without success, can you please provide with the basics i.e. how the box should be setup & scanning instructions for Telewest UK Northwest (Liverpool).   got dbox2 from germany!! - worked o.k. untill - -
  i messed around trying to get it to record to pc
  now when switch dbox on - "kein system"
  guy i bought of says just reflash - but he doesn't do the flashing so try the forums
  searches forums - found various links - all dead now (illegal stuff)
  got ifa and dummies guide but need an image
  req - sporster uk image for dbox2 with 2xintel/amd avia 500!
  live in liverpool area - if this makes a difference

  got nokia dbox 2 from germany i must need to flash box with latest uk image, i have networked box using core ftp and put cables & services xml from a box i previously bought in uk, got only a handful of channels, when i scan it only scans for about 2 seconds then says scan complete but does not find any transponders or channels, can you send me the links for latest uk image, ifa, & dbox command centre if you have the please, would be most grateful.

  hey boobooman, have had my nokia dbox 2 with neutrino sportster image 1.7 for over a year now it went down with a lot of other peoples boxes. All i used to do was service scans to get new channels now i cant get any. I tried changing my ucodes but when i went into my keylists there wasnt any ucodes in there. I have no imputed one ucode but thats it theire are loads of ucodes in the auto update one. I think i have messed up by before i knew how to change the ucodes properly i pressed a button that changed the keylists to linux. I feel that if i am able to delete the files on the box and reflash it this would solve the problems. i am from the liverpool area and now have no channels what so ever.   Hi Cypk33, HAve you sorted your problem out yet? It's a fairly easy fix really. Just have to edit 1 file on your box with a new key. (key can be obtained from the bigmaq toolbar (google it)).
