The Cable Guy Arrives !!!!!!

AS most of you know or atleast many of you probably know by now ! I am not the luckiest when it comes to computing ! Having recently had my Emachines Psu & Motherboard Go Kaphlooey !!! on me ! Then my 160GB WD Slave HDD Died an Ignoble death !!!!!! and while checking that out I accidently took out my cpu fan with my finger ! all of that though is just ripples in a pond as it were ! As all of that has been replaced , repaired & or Upgraded !!! But both preceding , during & after those minor debacles !! I have on an off ,mostly on havehad troubles with my High-speed internet -Cable !!! - To wit it isn't , it was'nt , It even ain't to steal a line from Frank zappa !!! MY internet speed has of late been dragging ! I got the Tech fron XXX cable company to come out tuesday !!!! and you guessed it He got lost !!!!!!!!!!! { I live in a Rural area } So the cable co. called me and I went and found him and Guided him to the Old ponderosa ! He came in Pulled up a Website on the internet and confirmed that yes even Yahoo was loading slow ! He went outside and tested the connections and tightened them up and said that's all he can do that my setup is okay but there is a problem in the Line / Junction box /amplifier or something like that and that's not what he's set up for ! he Promised to report it and said it may be a day or two and as of yet my internet does'nt seem to have improved by much if any so I doubt they have fixed it yet ! REight now I can check my email , surf the web & download pics ect... If I go to a site that has lot's of graphics it either takes forever to load or times out. Downloading DVD covers ain't happening right now ! If I want to pay bills online I go to the Nearest wifi
hotsppot -15mi. away at a truckstop and laptop it but that's $6.95 for 24 hrs. and Unfortunately I'm not going to spend that much time there !Hopefully all this aggravation will be ancient History soon ! and I'll be Speedy Gonzalez-ing right along soon Later gang ! will update with the outcome asap !
