I've been working for my Dad since I turned 18 mainly b/c the schedules were lenient and if we went on a vacation, I didn't have to worry about getting days off. Well, I've started making enough money with my current websites that I've stopped working for my Dad...

The other week he was telling me how his internet loan service was doing absolutely horrible compared to my uncles (he offers the same service). Ever since my Dad had the site up, I've been telling him his design and layout was horrible. I wish you guys could have seen it before hand. They had 2 long paragraphs in the middle with 2 links to the loan app (though...you really couldn't tell thats what they were for). On each side, it looked like they ad 2 ads and then they took a banner and screwed it up and put navigation on it...that didn't look like navigation. Anyways...the 2 "ads" and the banner...we all 1 image <_< Noobie...

So, I told him with a better design and easy to follow layout, that he should see more business since I had been tracking his traffic and 80% of his DIRECT traffic (non-search engine) were backing out on the homepage. He told me to design it for him...so I did :) Since it was right up my ally.

Well, I just finished the beta version...I can already tell you I'm going to be making changes to it shortly, but it will remain the same concept:

Don't ask about the colors...I was given their company sign (or logo...whatever) and had to design around it basically. If it were up to me, I wouldn't have picked those colors but oh well.
