Wondering if anyone could help me converting vts files to a dvd using the DVD Decrypter. My VTS files are in a folder and when i go to dvd decrypter and click on source and go to this folder there is nothing there. But when i go into the folder with out the DVD decrypter the files are there. Can anyone help please. My E-mail larry20082008@yahoo.com thanks so much for anyones help.

  • johnl123 (07 Apr 2006 8:01)

    EDIT;)

  • nana82 (07 Apr 2006 8:36)

can you explain to me in detail how to use anydvd with 1click? I just purchased anydvd and have no clue. I have used dvdcrypter previously with 1click, but does not work with memoirs of a geisha and capote. that is why I bought anydvd, but don't know how it works. thanks much,
    nana82

  • arniebear (08 Apr 2006 7:20)

nana82 if you have the current AnyDVD you can use the ripper that is built into the program and rip to your HDD and then run the file through DVD Shrink or 1Click and burn. With 1click AnyDVD should just run in the background and break the encryption. If it is not doing that then try the AnyDVD ripper. All you have to do is right click on the red fox in the tray and then choose rip to Hard Disk from the sidebar.

  • mrbear27 (31 Jul 2006 9:15)

    Hello Arniebear,

I have been experiencing difficulties recording on DL disks.
It is my understanding that Shrink will not work and Nero only works some of time.
After reading your information on this it does seem as though Decrypt is the way to go.
But, I can not find ISO Read or ISO Write in Decrypt at all.
Can you please tell me where to find these?

    Thank you,

    mrbear

  • dshark56 (02 Aug 2006 12:06)

Quick question. After using RipIt4Me, to process a hard backup, using your guide, do I use Decrypter to burn the result after Shrink is done with it? or do you recomend Nero or some other burner program? Oh Qudos on a great guide !

  • arniebear (03 Aug 2006 7:15)

    @mrbear27

Just open decrypter choose the mode tab and the iso read and after it rips, choose iso write, open your MDS file and go :)

    @dshark56

It is your own preference usually I just have my output file go to my HDD and then manually burn with Nero at my leisure. But either program is good. Thanks for the compliment on the guide it is appreciated :)

  • cjdj (09 Aug 2006 8:54)

  • Kyoshiko (10 Sep 2006 6:00)

    Hey
I DL the file you talked about (3550A_Memorex v1A4). It gets about 2 bars into the process and freezes up the entire computer. Something called a “flash failure”. Now what? I am becoming vary discouraged with Nero failures.

  • nightwind (05 May 2007 0:05)

    HI Arniebear:

I have been using RipIt4Me for a while and suddenly in the 1-Click mode it stops after DVD Decrypter has opened and done its thing with the Protected Sectors List. I get a box with "Protected Sectors List Imported Successfuly." with an OK button. I click OK and Decrypter just sits there waiting for me to click the Rip button. I swear it wasn't doing this before. Did I change a setting by accident, or is there something I can change to get it to not stop and continue to the Rip ? ? Someone out there said all my answers should be in the Guide but when I go to help and click "Open Guide", it goes to a "page can not be displayed". Is there a user guide out there somewhere I can download that will help?
    Please help.

  • binkie7 (11 Jun 2007 19:48)

    Welcome back arniebear

  • onya (12 Jun 2007 1:47)

A big G'DAY to arniebear. Hope ya doin' well and cheers to you on a total recovery. All the very best to ya!

  • arniebear (12 Jun 2007 15:49)

Yes RipIt is compatible with Vista, at least I had no problem using it with Vista Home on a Dell Inspiron laptop. Though not sure how long Vista will last on the computer, XP has my heart. To me Vista is just more security........besides the program is huge it takes over 20 gigs by its lonesome, what a waste of HDD.

To all thanks for the welcome back, you guys/gals are great :)

  • kid101606 (13 Jul 2007 13:31)

  • dshark56 (18 Sep 2007 11:20)

hay arniebear....How R U? Im back again. Been a while, Im an avid user of Ripit4me. I would really appreciate your advice please. I had a big bad Virus in my machine and I beat it back finally by using the XP System Restore and using a save point from Aug 6th, and I wiped out the monster. But I suddenly I am getting an error each time my DVD Decripter opens and its maddening. Cant figure it out.
It says: DeviceIoControl(IOCTL_STORAGE_MCN_CONTROL)Failed! Device:{o:2:0} Lite-on, (E:) (ATA) Unable to enable media change notification. Reason: The parameter is incorrect. ????
help please. Is it some setting that has changed? if this is to complicated to answer here. you can leave me a personal message on my shout box, I left another message there. Thank you for any input you can give me to figure this out.

  • bri868 (09 Jan 2008 20:13)

Het Arniebear I am new at backing up dvds and i got a question for you. I was using DVDFab to decrypt my dvds and worked for some but not all like Transformers. So yesterday I downloaded RipIt4Me and used it for my Transformers movie, when it needed to insert a dummy sector it did and went through without a problem. But when I went to play it on my dvd where ever the dummy sector was installed for some reason it skiped about 3-5 minutes of the movie. There was 3 sectors intstalled and it did it all 3 times. Can anyone help me with this. Thanx u.

  • LOCOENG (17 Jan 2008 23:48)

Thanks for the kind comments arniebear, hope all is well up norf. :)

sure helps to have an extra hand with the snowblowers *wink, wink*. I'm training my boy to clean the leaves out of the pool right now, he will be 4 this summer and I hope he'll have it down to a science by then so I can sit poolside with a margarita and watch him. lol

  • iluvendo (31 Mar 2008 16:27)

Arnie bear, did I miss out on your promotion to Addict status? If so, then a belated Congrats on a promotion which was well deserved and long over due!
