  I recommend to burn at 4X only, regardless of what media. I've always use high quality media like genuine Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "Advanced Azo" and Maxell (Hitachi - made in japan) and I've always burned them at 4X. See link for mor info.

  Hello Alkohol, I tried your method e.g. "DMA is Off" for newbies. I found out that I have 3 Primary IDE Channel and also 2 Secondary Channel. All 3 Primary read DMA if available and the 2 Secondary ones read also DMA if available. Except the last Secondary reads PIO Mode.
  Question: Should I uninstall 2 of the Primary Channels and 2 of the Second ones including the one which reads PIO Mode.
  I also noted that I do not have an Ultra DMA Mode indicated with the exception of the Secondary Channel which reads Transfer Mode 6.
  Could you please guide me.

  I was just wondering if you could re-upload the images in the Easy Methods to rebuild PS2 games, including GRAN TURISMO 4, 50CENT & XENOSAGA Episode 1 thread in the GT4 Burning Guide post on page 5 of the thread. I started following the guide, but after a good start I discovered that towards the middle of the guide, some of the images required are no longer there.

  Hey alkohol, i was looking at the grand turismo 4 backup guide which is excellent work by the way, but some of the images after step 5 most of the images are gone. Would you kindly enough to send me a link for the picture. Thanks man, and thanks for the nice guide.

  Alkohol, I have been on this site for several years but only just became a member. I have a question. I screwed up my laptop. everytime it went to PIO only(primary IDE), I would uninstall it and it would come back on a reboot. my screwup was the last time I accidently disabled instead of uninstall and now the computer will not boot. I was wondering if you know the fix for reenabling the primary ide

  Hi Alkohol, I was looking at ur rebuilding ps2 games guide ( [ link ] ) but on the step where i must click 'Extract LBA' it comes up with an error saying 1101a - invalid file header. Please help me to fix this.
