This past week, I got baked. If you took a thermometer, it would register between well done and burnt!! Spent a couple long shifts standing by a gate with no shelter or shade...from sun up till sundown. My eyes have that reverse racoon effect. That doesn't sound too bad. With a bit of physio/sports massage you should be back to 100% or near it. :)

After your cast/splint comes off get one of those hand exerciser squeezy balls and use it every day, and get your physio/massage therapist to show you stretches, you should be grand after a couple of weeks if you do your exercises every day.

You'll be grand. It sounds fairly straightforward. I had a client a few months ago who fell out of bed, broke her 4th and 5th metacarpals, the bones splintered, she had to have them operated on twice, lost one of her knuckles, so you aren't that bad. LOL!

Alright, to update everyone at once. The cast came off yesterday, and the X-Rays show that it's healing nicely thus far. I'm in a brace/splint for another four weeks, but i can take that off from time to time. So, just time and a little Physical Therapy and 7th will be back to normal! Ah yes beer is Good! Good deal. Boondock Saints definitely a great movie I like that one a lot too. Very hard to see William Defoe in that kind of role though he was awesome in Platoon. I watched Full Metal Jacket one 4th of July sunday with a couple of my Sgts. (1 a former marine, and the other like me is former army) and we could not move during the opening greeting by the DI. We were reciting each line, word for word. The last scenes in the movie, we commented that was the only time during that engagement that they acted like trained troops, laying down smoke, moving around the flanks, searching floor by floor.....and the dumbass fires a full clip and only hits her.....once, maybe twice. Other than that, we loved it!!

Glad to hear your rehab is going well. You'll be back to using that hand like normal in no time....giving your other hand a break!! LOL

Hey bro. I'm about to take a break from movies with the next 3 coming next week. I have to buy a new laptop, as the one I have had an entire row of pixels from left to right go dead. I called the manufacturer, and they told me they would have to replace it....at a cost of $400-600. Now, I have to save up for a new one and put myself on a strict budget of zero spending on non bill items. I'm already having withdrawls of not being able to buy any goodies!!

HI, you replied to my question in the 'dvd shrink forum' about a portable shrinking program, i would answer you there but for some reason it has been closed, anyway you answered by writting the comments below:
I would have to disagree. This program is used to make backup copies of movies you OWN, not ones sitting around your mates house.

This forum is dedicated to help people that want to make legitimate backup copies of the movies they own so as to preserve the original from damage.

Therefore, it is not necessary to have Dvd Shrink as a portable app.

have you ever seen the warning on commercial dvds it states:
it is an offence to have and application that is able to circumvent the copy protection of said dvd.(or words to that effect)
so according to this there is no such thing as legitamite backups (there may be in the usa but not here in the uk) thanks
